Howard Signs the Painting with Herbie

 

 

Howard has now completed the oil painting of Herbie Taylor as previous news feed...

The painting was Started Wednesday 28th October 2009 in Howard's art demonstration in the "White Horse" pub in Netley Marsh,

The schedule was an 8 day project at approx 4 hour per session..

A simple sketch was the first process

 

 

Wednesday & Thursday afternoon at The White Horse & one session at the "Bugle Inn at Botley was on Sunday afternoon,

Then for the next five days in the "White Horse" & finally completion on the Saturday morning; painting the sides & signing the painting.

In 8 day's  the painting was finished  as promised .

Many people attended the demonstrations , local Art societys ,Saints fans & Herbie & family attended to see the painting come to life....

The big question now is where will  the painting go next???

Will it be displayed along the conterversal Pompey fan painting that started the whole idea of a Saints fan painting in Southampton Art gallery?

 

Will it be hung at St Marys Stadium ?

 

The Painting is on display at "The White Horse" Netley Marsh until furthur notice..
